I was reminded again today of jezzy when I got my August cell phone bill. There were several mysterious long distance charges for short phone calls placed to rod's cell phone on August 31. Now I remember calling and talking to rod around 7 pm, trying to help the moving party find a hotel room somewhere in New York, but I didn't purposefully call him or speak to him anymore that evening. So where did these charges come from?

I had my phone in my pocket that evening as usual, and later rodney reported a few strange voicemails that sounded like digging, and one of Posey singing "God Be With You Till We Meet Again." Jezzy was calling her old master from the grave to say one last goodbye.

Rest In Peace, Jezzy King
This site has been put up as a little place to say goodbye to Jezzy. Below are some pictures from her funeral and in the future we will be posting fun pictures and stories from her life. Thanks for the approximately 20 years, Jez!

Pallbearers carrying Jezzy in her casket out for the ride to the gravesite.
Jezzy's last golf cart ride into the pasture.
She was buried with her red blanket, a piece of cheese, and the roses. Her doggie ghost can chase squirrels out of that oak tree forever.
